We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Stuart Stromeyer, a cherished member of the Diamondhead community.
Stuart and his wife, Mary Ann, purchased their home in Diamondhead in 2020, making it their permanent home in 2022. Stuart’s connection to the area ran deep—he was raised in Metairie and spent countless childhood days in nearby Waveland and Picayune with his grandparents. His love for the region and its people brought him and Mary Ann back here in retirement.

After a distinguished career as a global Large Loss Adjuster in the oil, gas, and power industries, He finished his professional journey with McLarens. He went on to serve the community as a dedicated member of the Diamondhead POA Board of Directors.

Stuart brought joy and generosity to every corner of Diamondhead. He was an enthusiastic golfer, a proud Mardi Gras Krewe of Bacchus member, and a regular at the Diamondhead Wine Club and Club  Wine Dinners. His friendly smile, steady leadership, and kind spirit left a mark on all who knew him.

Mary Ann told us that more than anything, he was an adoring husband, devoted son, loving father, proud grandfather, and caring big brother. His life was defined by love, laughter, and service. His memory will continue to inspire and uplift our community.
